Ours began with FAMILY

It all started in 1986, when Mr. Peter Chia decided to leave his 8-year job in a multi-national company. He believed that you cannot sit still, so you must do something. He wanted to provide a better life for his family so he started looking for things to do on his own. At first he thought that leaving his job will be painful for him and his family. Luckily, his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Chia, supports him in whatever he wanted to do.

He started the business like everybody else and learned the hard way, but he remained persistent. He wanted to do the business the right way and followed one basic concept – “complete honesty and we will never be dishonest and be cheating anybody.”

HDI became the pioneer in developing the network marketing business in Asia. Since then, millions of individuals were given an opportunity to strive for a better life for them and for their families. Over the years, we have evolved to become a Family of Companies, entering various industries where we know we can make a difference in the lives of many. What Mr. Peter Chia always wants to impart is for us to always use your heart, work from the heart, and do good for other people. Anything else will come easy, if what you do is always from your heart.
